Samantha Stevens is the alias of a famous Canadian columnist, trance channeler, chat room host, aura reader, light worker and Tarot Reader who has read well over ten thousand people since 1994. Her two books Psychic Self Defense: A Guide to Universal Peace and The Seven Rays: A Guide To the Archangels were just released by Insomniac Press. Hi, it's Samantha Stevens. First a few notes on how to use this calendar:

* First of all, It doesn't matter what size of candle you use. Even the tiniest light will do. It is the colour vibration and the timing that matters most with this. You can use a big candle, a little votive, but probably one of the cheapest ways is to buy packs of multicolored birthday candles. Make sure you have plenty of white candles on hand as well.

*Secondly, you don't have to burn these candles all the way down, as you do in wiccan magic (as these are not spells.) Burn the candle for as long as you can and mind all the basic safety rules such as "never leave a burning candle unattended."

*Try and use a lighter as opposed to a match to light the candles as matches contain magical elements, such as sulfer that may interfere with raising your vibrations.

*Always light one white candle first, before you go to light the other coloured candle(s) and then wait a minute or two. The purpose of this white candle is to clear the energy field of other vibrations that might be around ..so you are working with a clear astral field. you can use the same white candle, if it is not burnt down, to clear the energy field for a different colour combination on another day.

*You don't have to burn a candle combination every day but you can if you like. Choose those days which are more convenient to you or suit your purposes best.

*These candle time are set to Eastern Standard Time. However, as this is based on numerology largely it is OK to burn them according to what the numbers on your clock in your time zone say. There will always be others burning along with you in your time zone. If you want to burn along with me I will be burning in EST times.

WHAT DOES MATTER?

* Try to light the candle (s) within the time frame indicated...
* as you light the candle focus on your intent and purpose and ask for your vibrations to be raised so that you can magnetize the goal into your life. Sometimes you are asking to have a quality or energy enhanced in your life. Ask the powers that be to guide you to correct action.

*Visualize as best you can, reaching your goal, and what that would feel like... try and feel as if it has already happened. Pretend for a few minutes. Once you have done that and maybe felt a little click, let the feeling and emotion go...and ask the Universe to take care of it for you.

*at the end of your meditation, which does not have to be intense, just sincere and heartfelt, ask that your call be multiplied and sent out to all of those in need of the same quality or energy. Then Forget about it and let the candles burn for as long as you can. Do not fuss and worry over the candles... Spirit is working on our behalf.

At 6 a.m. or 6 p.m. (as six represents the number of physical perfection) light one BROWN candle and one BLACK candle and picture yourself reaching your goal, whether it be losing weight, quitting smoking, or stopping obsessing. The waning moon in Taurus will help you to develop the tenacity and willpower to confront those self sabotaging behaviors that are getting in the way of you meeting your goals.

At 8 a.m. or 8 p.m. light one BLUE, one RED and one BLACK candle. The red and blue together recognizes the dramatic energies of the waning moon in Gemini. As the black candle burns down, visualize deceit and illusion melting away to reveal the truth to you. The number eight in Greece represents the number of imperfection, so what needs fixing in your relationship or finances will be revealed to you.
